Sustainability

We are committed to being good environmental stewards by helping our clients create better sustainable space in their work environment and providing a partnership with leading furniture industry manufacturers in LEED solutions. Shoreline Office Solutions offers green products and services across all products lines that we sell. We live this commitment daily by employing our own internal sustainability initiatives we develop and implement in our daily work environment.

Some of the green solutions we practice daily are as follows: recycling programs for electronics, consolidating our product deliveries so that we can be as efficient as possible by using limited fossil fuels and blanket wrapping products versus using Styrofoam #6 Polystyrene or #3 PVC products that don’t break down in the environment for up to 500 years. We have incorporated building sustainability into our corporate mission. From our corporate policies and partnered vendors and the lifestyle choices we implement daily, our pride in providing sustainability choices is job one.

For many years, the vendors of the world promoted a linear value stream that focused on products and services with short/linear lifespans. It is our goal here at Shoreline Office Solutions to improve this paradigm into a circular value stream that includes products and services that are part of a circular, sustainable economy. Making a shift to this holistic approach requires that all sustainable products and sourcing, the sharing of knowledge and services, continuous support and engagement of the community and with the accountability of our partnered sources are all working together to make a cleaner and healthier environment.
